A concert by the 15-piece LGO Professional Ensemble at St Ethelburga's Centre for Reconciliation
and Peace - a popular venue for events and concerts, in this beautifully restored church at 78 Bishopsgate,
London EC2N 4AG (near Liverpool Street station). Doors open 7.00, concert starts at 7.30pm.

LONDON GYPSY ORCHESTRA at Cycle East - Bethnal Green Working Men's Club
The LGO Professional Ensemble perform for this event organised by Serious, in which the audience travels by bicycle, foot or public transport between three different venues in East London to see three different gigs by three different acts. We will be performing at the Bethnal Green Working Men's Club in Pollard Row, E2 6NB, at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm. The other acts at the other venues are Soweto Kinch and Sweet Billy Pilgrim. GERMANDER SPEEDWELL at the MUSEUM IN DOCKLANDS
Dockyard Dictionary walks at Museum in Docklands, Canary Wharf:
Germander Speedwell marks World Poetry Day by leading a wordy wander around the docks, spotting nautical curiosities and performing en route her factual but fun pieces about the Thames
and its dockyards. From ship names and shellfish to curious cargoes and strange occupations, Germander will explain many of the interesting examples of nomenclature and terminology she has found in the Museum of Docklands and elsewhere, and point out examples and evidence along the way.
Walks start at 11am and 1pm, and last an hour; cost £5.
